Does this sound like my 96 Chevy Beretta car may have a Carbon Monoxide leak?
Hello,
I have a 1996 Chevy Beretta. About a month ago I had the air conditioner fixed because it was not producing cold air. I think this was caused by a leak or somthing. This past week I have felt sick from riding in the car and all I’ve noticed that is different is the weather is warmer so I’ve been using the AC more.
I bought a Carbon Monoxide alarm by Kidde and put it in the car with the windows rolled up and air conditioner on. I left it there for about 10 minutes and nothing happend.
Could I be being exposed to another chemical or gas or could it still be Carbon Monoxide poisoning?
Any information would be appreciated!
Thanks
many times spores or fungus will build up on your evaporator. There is a procedure for disinfecting that the dealer will perform for you, however if you know where the fresh air intake is on your cowel, you can turn your fan on high and allow lysol to be sucked in and soak.
