for cpl, 9mm or .40, and why?

ive been doing a alot of research into a good first gun. my buddy owns a para 1911 .45 and his dad has a taurus 1911 .45. i was looking at glock 27 but am hesitant.
i dont really like the springfield xd sub but want to know if anyone has any thoughts on this px4 storm sub type f by beretta?

it be the only suitable gun size for a cpl(ccw) to carry of the px4 line.

any positive feedback appreciated

My thought on concealed carry is this, the lighter and smaller it is, the more likely you are to carry it often.

.380s are exploding right now because gun makers are getting really good at making them very small and light.

If I were looking to start regularly carrying concealed, I would be looking at some of the smaller and lighter 9mm models. Something like the Taurus 709 Slim or Kahr PM9.
