Beretta Tomcat .32 or Ruger LCP for pocket carry?
Which would you choose and why? I know the LCP is a .380 vs. the Tomcat in .32, but other than that, which seems to be a more reliable choice? If you refer a different brand and model, it needs to be as small as these two.
I can put it to you like this… I have a good freind who WONT allow a Bobcat in the CCW courses he teaches. He says it takes up too much time …. he’s seen to many failures to eject and failures to feed out of the Bobcats
The Bobcat is about the only “bad” Beretta handgun in production.
.32 is better than a sharp stick or a rock…. but I’d prefer to shoot a mouse-gun in .380… good hollow points are easier to find and the cartridge (minimal as it is) is pretty reliable from contact to 15 feet as a stopper.
I like the LCP… but I like Kahr and PPK’s too. I really like the Seacamps but they are just too hard to obtain at a decent price. The LCP would be a good choice for pocket carry in a pocket holster…
