Ammo question?
Which is the best bullet to shoot in a Browning Buckmark .22 Camper?
I just got a Buckmark Camper in January and have shot every brand and type of ammo through it I can find at the gun stores and outdoor shops. I found that EVERY expensive brand of match type ammo does great in it. But, as far as regularly available ammo that’s not over pricey to just blast away with, mine likes these in this order:
1. Federal AutoMatch – $16.00 for a brick of 350 @ Walmart when they have them in stock which is rarely.
2. CCI Minimags – $5.00 for a box of 100
3. Federal basic Bulk 550 round hollow point brick that walmart sells for about $11.00. I’ve never had a misfire with these and they are clean and keep pretty good groups. Plus, everybody has these in stock by the truckload.
