Would this be a good scope to put on a Marlin 925?
I already have a 925, and I plan on getting another one for just hunting, as my one now is all set up for target, and is heavy. So what do you think about this scope.

Cost $199, same as the rifle, and they say you should spend the amount you did on the rifle, and spend that much on the optics. So, I would be right on I guess.
I will only be hunting, and plinking with this, and might target a little with it, but I already have 925 that shoots .37″ groups at 100 yards so no need to change there.
I have a Marlin 925, bought it last September, and absolutely love it! This scope will you do you just fine, I slapped an “El Cheapo” scope on mine and it holds a zero quite well! This scope and the rifle will do their end of the work, just do your’s and you’re good to go!
P.S. My rifle prefers 31 grain Federal Spitfire HP and 33 grain Remington Yellow Jacket HP the most, does your rifle prefer any certain brand/grain weight?
