camouflage uniforms in Navy A-School? When can I wear camis during A School?
I am in the Navy Nuke Program A School / A-School currently. Uniform we use is the Blue Utility Uniform for class (sam uniform used in RTC bootcamp). However, after class, we have Civilian Clothing Privileges, and able to wear civilian clothes after class, and off the base.
Off base Clothes are either Dress or Summer Whites or Civilian Clothing, ….Blue Utility uniforms are not allowed off base.
For those with Navy, what is a way to buy my Camouflage full Uniform from the Navy Uniform Shop, and use it without getting in trouble?
Can I sow my Name Patch? how about “U.S. Navy” patch? How about the Petty Officer 3rd Class Logo on my 8-point Cami cap? Thanks and let me know how and if the UCMJ comes into place.
you are unauthorized to wear that uniform unless command directed.
the Uniform of the day is authorized. that’s it. if the POD does not authorize it, you cannot wear it. Plain as that.
you can expect that the uniform will NOT be pemritted while in Nuke A school.
