We’re looking for a cupcake stand/tier/tree that can hold up to 250 cupcakes at a reasonable price (less than $60-70) and this is the only thing that I’ve found so far:

We are planning on painting it black and finishing off the edges with ribbon…
I think it will work fine, and you can’t beat the price ($50 incl. shipping). I tried to find rentals, but I can’t find anything that will hold enough cupcakes at a reasonable price.
I can’t find any online reviews, though, so I’m looking to you guys – do you have experience with this brand?

check your local bakery. we had a cupcake tree, and one of the bakeries in our town did it for us, they put it on one of their tier stands, and then we just had to give it back to them after the wedding.
