Are these good? Which is better? Are there better ones for the price?
Those two are great, but are more combat oriented. I would recommend the Bushman by Cold steel or the ASEK by Ontario.

When i think of a “survival” knife, I think of something that would help me survive in the wilderness. It doesnt have to be some 20 tool marketing hype. You take it to the other extreme. Why not trek empty handed? Make a primitive knife? Different people need different tools to make them feel comfortable in the wild. Being ex-army, you would need less, while not being the case for most. Get off the high horse.
The kukri is a great knife though. Forgot to mention that.
