Potty training pants which are the best ones to use?
My daughter is 18 months old and looks like she is ready for potty training with my other three kids I used Gerber the one with the plastic on the outside and the cloth on the inside but I can’t find those anymore especially not in 18 months.
The only effective “training pants” out there are real pants and panties.
Pull-ups are just very expensive diapers.
When potty training, make sure you have a few days (up to a week) off where you can stay home and have the toddler wear NO DIAPERS whatsoever, just regular panties. Make sure to start with sitting on the potty every hour (whether she needs to go or not), then every couple hours, etc. Make sure she gets lots of drinks in the meantime…….water, juice, milk, whatever she will drink. The idea is to get her to have to go as often as possible so that there’s a greater chance that she WILL at least get one wizz on the potty. They are so happy with success!
Be prepared for lots of accidents and messes on the floor, but after a week of that (and do have her help clean up), even the toddler gets weary and quickly learns to go on the potty.
