Nature’s Rainbow
Golden, crimson, indigo
mingle within the meadow below
far above a raven cries
circling in the turquoise skies
Emerald, ivory, mauve
sparkle inside the spruce tree grove
near at hand a splash of red
the young fox lifts his pointed head
Silver, copper, gold
glimmer upon the tree-bark mold
hanging motionless upside down
a hunting spider, grey and brown
Yellow, orange, blue
cascading off the morning dew
zooming above the glistening grass
dragonflies with platinum wings of glass
