How should I build a homemade treestand?
I am looking to build a simple tree stand out of wood for bowhunting. I just need a ladder and a platform with a seat. Any suggestions or where can I get plans for this?

just find a tree with a good sturdy Y about 15 feet up and screw some 2×4 steps going up the tree to your platform (3/4 pressure treated plywood works nice) and stick a 6 gallon bucket up there for a seat and wrap the stand in that black silt fence material you see on construction sites
