Scopes and ghillie suits?
Just wanted to ask peoples preference on scopes they have used on paintball markers as i’ve read reviews on various ones but still haven’t been sold on any particular one! Also if anyone has had good use out of any particular type of ghillie suit i’d like to know about it, as i’ve looked at a few and thought mossy oak suits seem pretty well put together! Any thoughts would be appreciated!
preferably people with paintball experience should lend me their thoughts! CHEERS!
This is not the answer you are looking for but I believe that a scope would be a hinderance at the effective range of a paint ball marker. Your target acquisition is faster with iron sights and the precision that a scope brings is not necissary. I can hit a target at 300 yards with my iron sighted rifle (and I am a pretty good marksman, not an expert) you can certainly hit a 50 yard target with a paint ball. I have never used a scope on a paint ball marker but the times that I have gone I have acted as a very effective sniper in some situations.
If you are referring to a red dot optic that does not magnify, (not usually referred to as a scope) that may be a good choice as it will likely quicken your target acquisition.
