Are lilac and blue standard rex rabbits rare?

I’m getting 2 standard rex rabbits this weekend, and I’m going to pick them out soon. According to the breeder, she has lilac, chocolate, blue, black, black otter, and broken standard rex rabbits. So, I thought that I would get a lilac rex rabbit. My brother wants to either get a blue or black otter standard rex rabbit. Are lilac or blue rex rabbits rare? Which variety is the rarest? Do lilac rex rabbits do well on the show table? Thanks! :)

All the colors are really equal in rarity, go to a how and you’ll see ‘em all. No one variety does better except that good type is easier to find in some colors and some breeds (i.e. holland lops originated in tort coloring, thus torts usually take BOB’s and such because that color has been developed for so long so good type is not hard to find). The quality of the rabbit, in Rex the main aspects being body and fur, is what will make it a good or bad show animal. If you are looking to show, talk to the breeder about showing and which rabbits have nice type.
Hope his helps!
