Simmons Aetec Or ProHunter?
I’ve decided on purchasing a Simmons rifle scope for target shooting up to 1000 yards with a Remington 721 30-.06 bolt-action rifle. Which of the two below would be the better scope for my needs?
1. The Aetec is 4-14×44 and is a little more expensive than the ProHunter.

2. The ProHunter is 6-24×44

Thanks for the help!
You will SAVE money in the long run, if you will save your money until you can get, at a bare minimum, a Leupold VX-3 series scope in your desired magnification. You can fool around and buy 3 or 4 cheap scopes before you decide you need a quality scope. Or you can save and spend the same $400-500 on a Leupold rather than the multiple “also ran” scope purchases!
