Besides kitchen knives. What types of knives are most commonly favored by criminals?
Having been involved for a while in the tactical community(first USMC Infantry, and now EMS), I have a question for our LEO friends. While I understand that in America kitchen knives are generally the most commonly used knives in crimes, mainly because most knife crimes happen out of domestic disputes. I am curious as to what other types of knives(if any) criminals favor in robberies and murders. I would be willing to bet most thugs don’t carry tactical folders like Spyderco’s or Emerson’s, not that it matters with a pointy piece of steel coming your way any who. Thank you for your input.
