Need suggestions on a game trail camera for christmas present.?
Are IR flashes worth the extra money? What is a good brand? I’d like to keep it under $300 and have it easy to use. Its for my dad, and he’s pretty slow when it comes to computers. I tried looking in Bass Pro and Cabelas, but every camera I looked at had the same amount of good ratings as bad.
Go to one of these stores or another major sporting goods store and usually they will have some pictures from these cameras to look at so you can decide for yourself which ones take the best picture for the money. I know Gander Mountain has sample pictures up and so does Scheels. I personally use one that has a flash but am leaning towards a IR because after a few times this season the pictures of the same deer got fewer and fewer until I move the camera. So this is telling me that the flash is spooking them enough to change their routes.
