do you wear camo when you hunt?
i know that pretty much everybody does, including myself, but you really dont even need it as long as your in a tree stand or blind…in off season i go out in my stand just in blue jeans and a t shirt and i have multiple mature does cross right under my stand…i just wear camo because i think it makes things more fun and it would just be weird if i didnt…i even put on camo make up just for the fun of it…what do you think about camo?

I have not worn camo in years, what deer and people see more is movement and deer can smell you from a 100yds away. I do wear muted colors, no blue jeans as blue stands out, and definitely no blaze orange I don’t want folks to even see me as a hunter. I Bow hunt and use a take down bow I put in my pack that way no one sees it and I can casually hike to my tree stand which is well hidden and hunt all day and not be bothered. In my area anti hunters head out to harass the hunters and wearing blaze orange is an invitation to a failed hunt.
Blaze orange was introduced by worried we know better than you folks who also want to help the lousy hunter keep from sticking you with an arrow or bullet, the game wardens to find you to make sure everyone is obeying every single law and so tree hugging bambi lovers can find you. I’ll take my chances with the latter and avoid the rest.
