rough draft, what do you think of kudzu? A poem,?

Was deadwood, standing, proud and tall
beneath a sky of satin waves
from pillows shaped both large and small
sweet liquid sunshine, coursing… brave
As kudzu crept up stealthily
wrapping, clothing, smothering
It coated, dressed up splendidly
the trees grandeur it’s covering
What yesterday stood tall and proud
is camouflaged in green today
with its leaves this vine did shroud
tenaciously It worked away
Now underneath the moon lit sky
I swear I hear the dead wood cry.
wow Lily is there really a house in there?
I thought that wisteria was vile yet lovely this stuff is ferally wicked. I see groups of trees in the pasteur that are like a statuesque life form.. it is both awe inspiring and terrifying
i have heard of pickling it , however I am at a loss as to why or how to pickle a leaf .. as usually pickles have more substance unless they made relish.. hmm
Good poem Maddam. Ya know, I had a friend in Tallahassee who was hired to have her sheep eat the Kudzu. She had herding dogs to keep them in line.
