Red Eye Tree Frog Warmth/lighting question?

I have a 20 gallon high tank i am going to have water on the bottom 2 inches of the tank with a filter etc… I have tons of trees, plants, things for him to stand on, climb on etc…
I had this set up a couple of years ago and it was excellent. I just can’t remember how i kept them warm and lighted up the tank.
I have a screen top and half of the top has plexi glass on it to keep humidity and some warmth in. I know they hate bright lights, and you don’t want to put to much heat right up at top of the cage because you can burn them.
I can’t do under the tank heaters because the water absorbs most of the heat and it doesn’t work at all (i tried it before)
Any recommendations or what bulb/light to use that can keep them warm and light the tank???
Thanks

low wattage ceramic bulbs work great. (no more then 20w) Please check out this link for additional help. Try and keep daytime temperatures of about 75°- 80° F (24° – 27° C) and nighttime temperatures of 70°- 75° F. Adjust the wattage or raise the lamp as need be.
