cockatiel at a park?
I was thinking of taking my cockatiel tiko to a park a few houses down from where i live. I need to know what wood cockatiels can chew and stand on because there are wood chips on the ground instead of sand or rocks. there are some trees around and the park play gym is made out of wood. yes he will have a harness or flight jacket on too. will he be safe?
DONT LET HIM RUN AROUND LOOSE ON THE GROUND.
Some idiot will step on your bird and trample it to death (most likely a kid aged 5 to 16 yrs old) just to be a “hero” and you could get a bird swoop down and attack him and toddlers might chase him and step on him,and you will have mothers (the gossipy type who dont have a life) making a fuss as well.
Only take him to the park when NO ONE else is there.
